Mr. Jelmer Gerard Snow (1961), partner of the firm, was born in Utrecht, the Netherlands. He spent most of his youth in Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles. After graduating from Peter Stuyvesant College (high school) in Curaçao in 1983, he joined the University of Leiden where he received his law degree in 1989.

Admittance to the Bar took place in the beginning of 1990 in Sint Maarten. Since then he has been practicing law in Sint Maarten with an interruption of one year when he worked with a renowned law firm in Curaçao. Jelmer has also been a partner of the oldest law firm of Sint Maarten.

On the 1st of February 2003 he joined Roeland Zwanikken in the partnership that was know under the name ZwanikkenSnowEssed. Jelmer is a former Dean of the Sint Maarten Bar Association.
