Berty Veen-Brom was born in Zaandam (1971) and raised in Brabant (the Netherlands). She studied law at the University of Utrecht and graduated in 2002. She started her career as a judicial clerk. In 2004 she became mediator and started her own firm in legal advice and mediation. Berty also studied psychology at the University of Utrecht. She graduated (BSc) in 2010. In April 2010, she started to work as an attorney-at-law in the Netherlands and was admitted to the Dutch bar.
Berty is active in the field of civil law, especially labor law. In December 2016 she passed the exam of the specialization labor law course and received the Magna Charta certificate.
Since August 2017 Berty works for BZSE as senior associate.
